Safe and Happy Fourth of July!!!
Fourth of July is a celebration of those courageous men and women who put their lives at risk for our freedom. Most of us do celebrate on the Fourth so it's important to be safe at the same time.
This year, again, will be a "no-refusal weekend" in South Texas. If you are stopped and suspected of impaired driving, you will be FORCED to submit to having your blood drawn for evaluation to determine the alcohol content in your blood.
Local TV KHOU has this to say click here.
For Montgomery County, you can read about it in the Woodlands Villager paper.
Don' take the chance that you will be mistaken for an intoxicated driver. Even though it is NOT against the law to have a drink and then drive . . . the police will have no hesitation in arresting you if they suspect even a minimum amount of alcohol on your breath or body.
Always use a designated driver and enjoy the Fourth of July safely!
