The Way of the (Not So Distant) Future

For the past year, I have been predicting that a shift to only blood cases would occur within the next three years. Well I was wrong.

It only took one year. The Dallas Police Department is trying to make this happen now. You can read about it in the Dallas Morning News.

It will not be long until every county goes this route. Imagine everyone arrested for DWI will have their blood taken, with their consent, OR NOT!

Make sure to hire an attorney that knows how to defend these cases. Your attorney should know the CLSI standards for blood draws as well as the lab protocols used for testing a blood specimen.

If your attorney is not familiar with either of these two, you are not talking to a top notch DWI attorney.
